Publication History

Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology began in 1910 as the Journal of the American Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology. It became the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology in 1931, changed its name to the Journal of Criminal Law, Criminology, and Police Science in 1951, and changed its name back to the Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology in 1973. The volume numbering was maintained through these name changes. The first copyright-renewed issue is November-December 1936 (v. 27 no. 4). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from May-June 1959. (More details) It is still published today.
