Journal of Education was a publication of a Missouri association of primarily African-American teachers in the mid-19th century.

Publication History

Journal of Education began in the mid-1930s, published by the Missouri State Association of Negro Teachers. A second series began in 1945. The Association was renamed the Missouri Teachers Association in 1948. We are not aware of issues published after 1949.
