Journal de Pharmacie et de Chimie began in 1842, succeeding the Journal de Pharmacie et des Sciences Accessoires, and beginning what was labeled a third series, Series 3 ran for 46 volumes from 1842 to 1864. Series 4 ran for 30 volumes from 1865 to 1879. Series 5 ran for 30 volumes from 1880 to 1894. Series 6 ran for 30 volumes from 1895 to 1909. Series 7 ran for 30 volumes from 1910 to 1924. Series 8 ran for 30 volumes from 1925 to 1939. Series 9, the last series under this title ran for 2 volumes from 1940 to 1942. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
