Journal of the Statistical Society of London was the mid-19th century name of a British statistical journal now published as the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society.

Publication History

Journal of the Statistical Society of London began in 1838, succeeding the Proceedings of the Statistical Society of London. It ran under this name until 1886 (dropping the "of London" part of its name in 1873). The following year it was renamed the Journal of the Royal Statistical Society, which continues to publish in multiple series today.
