The Kent Stater

The Kent Stater is a long-running student newspaper of Kent State University.

Publication History

The Kent Stater began in 1926 as the Searchlight, but changed its name to the Kent Stater later that year. It was known as the Daily Kent Stater from 1952 to 2014, but has since gone to a less frequent print schedule. A weekly magazine issue was published as KSU Buzz, and summer editions have been published under slightly different titles as well.
