The Lady Maccabee was the official organ of the Ladies of the Maccabees, a women's organization based in Michigan. The title varied somewhat over time.

Publication History

The Ladies of the Maccabees were founded in 1886. The Lady Maccabee appears to have begun in the 1890s, based on its volume numbering. The Ladies of the Maccabees merged with the Knights of the Maccabees in 1926. The last issue of The Lady Maccabee that we know of is dated January 1927.
