Acts Passed by the Legislature of the State of Louisiana is the official record of laws passed by the Louisiana state legislature.

Publication History

Louisiana became a state in 1812. Early laws are recorded both in English and in French. During part of the Civil War, both a Union and a Confederate state government met. Its legislature meets to this day.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1861: The Internet Archive has the acts of the 6th legislature, first session, in Baton Rouge, in English and French.
• 1862-1863: The Internet Archive has the acts of the 27th legislature, in Opelousas, in English and French. It's unclear to me why the session numbering is different for this volume, since like the other 6th Session volumes listed here it appears to be from the Confederate-aligned state government.
• 1863: The Internet Archive has the acts of the 6th legislature, extra session, in English and French.
