Lincoln County Record is a newspaper published in Lincoln County, Nevada.

Publication History

Lincoln County Record traces back its roots to 1871, when the Ely Record was founded. That newspaper became The Pioche Daily Record in 1872. The newspaper, which also carried a number of other "Pioche" titles based on its frequency, first became the Lincoln County Record in 1900, before reverting to the Pioche Weekly Record in 1905. The newspaper was renamed Lincoln County Record once more in 1925, returned to The Pioche Record in 1932, and once more became Lincoln County Record in 1968, retaining that name to the present day.
