Journal of the Linnean Society of London: Zoology

Journal of the Linnean Society of London: Zoology was the long-running name of a scholarly zoology journal published by the Linnean Society of London.

Publication History

The journal spun off of the Proceedings of the Linnean Society in 1855, publishing its first full volume in 1857. Initially it was known as the Journal of the Proceedings of the Linnean Society of London: Zoology, but it adopted the name Journal of the Linnean Society of London: Zoology in its 8th volume. In 1969 it was renamed the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society. That journal continues today. Dates listed for the volumes below run from the date of the earliest paper published in the volume to the volume's publication date.
