Journal of the Linnean Society of London: Botany was the long-running name of a scholarly botany journal published by the Linnean Society of London.
The journal (along with another journal on zoology) spun off of the Proceedings of the Linnean Society in 1855, publishing its first full volume in 1857. Initially it was known as the Journal of the Proceedings of the Linnean Society of London: Botany, but it adopted the later name in its 8th volume. In 1969 it was renamed the Botanical Journal of the Linnean Society. That journal continues today. Dates for the volume below run from the date of the earliest paper published in the volume to the volume's publication date.
