Louisiana Education Association Journal, was a publication of the Louisiana Education Assocation, a predominantly African American teachers organization. The masthead of the magazine often showed the title "L.E.A. Journal"; the cover often gave the title simply as "The Journal".

Publication History

Louisiana Education Association Journal began publishing under that title in 1948, succeeding The Louisiana Colored Teachers' Journal and continuing its issue numbering. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Louisiana Education Association Journal continued publishing into the 1970s. In 1977, the Louisiana Education Association merged with the Louisiana Teachers' Association to form the Louisiana Association of Educators.
