Publications of the American Economic Association

Publications of the American Economic Association was a journal of economics published by the American Economic Association in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

Publication History

Publications of the American Economic Association began publishing in 1886. After 11 volumes, a new series began in 1897, running only for two issues. A third series then began in 1900. In 1908, a split occurred, with the American Economic Association Quarterly continuing the volume numbering of this serial, and a new spinoff "Economic Bulletin" taking over book reviews and other notices. (Both publications are listed separately.) In 1911, those serials would merge to form The Economic Review.
