Public Health Reports is an American public health journal.

Publication History

Public Health Reports began publishing under that title in 1896, succeeding Abstract of Sanitary Reports and earlier titles dating back to 1878. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It absorbed the Journal of Venereal Disease Information in the early 1950s. Public Health Reports changed its name to HSMHA Health Reports in 1971 and to Health Services Reports in 1972, before resuming as Public Health Reports in 1974. It is still published today.

• 1896-1928: JSTOR has volumes 11-43 freely readable online. Access to later issues may require subscription or payment.
