Punch

Punch was a long-running 19th and 20th century British magazine known for its humour, satire, and cartoons. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Punch began publication in 1841. In its early years, it was subtitled "The London Charivari", after a Parisian magazine that it was originally patterned on. It ceased publication in 1992. In 1996, the magazine was revived under new ownership, but the revival folded in 2002.
