The Paducah Sun is a newspaper published in Paducah, Kentucky. The title has varied somewhat over time. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)
The Paducah Daily Sun began in 1877. Daily and weekly editions were consolidated into The Paducah Sun in 1898. The weekly edition was formally renamed The Paducah Weeekly Sun in 1902, and in 1906 the daily edition was renamed The Paducah Evening Sun. In 1929 the Sun merged with the rival News-Democrat to become the Sun-Democrat (which later published as the Paducah Sun-Democrat). The title reverted to The Paducah Sun in 1978. It is still published today. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
