Publication History

Partisan Review began in 1934. 1936 issues were titled Partisan Review and Anvil, after a merger with The Anvil. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is October 1936 (v. 3 no. 6). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1936 (v. 3 no. 1). (More details) Publication was suspended in late 1936, and resumed in late 1937. The last issue was published in 2003.
