Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society is a journal on the history and archaeology of Cambridgeshire, England, and on the Cambridge Antiquarian Society.

Publication History

The Cambridge Antiquarian Society was founded in 1840, and in 1859 it first published a volume of papers presented at its meetings from 1850 onwards, under the title "Antiquarian Communications". By 1891 the series became known as Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society, and it began a new series numbering alongside the old. The dates in the volumes listed below reflect when the papers in them were first presented; the publication date of the full volume may be later in some cases. It is still published today.

• 1860-1864: The Internet Archive has volume 2 of Antiquarian Communications.
• 1864-1876: The Internet Archive has volume 3 of Cambridge Antiquarian Communications.
• 1876-1880: The Internet Archive has volume 4 of Cambridge Antiquarian Communications.
• 1880-1884: The Internet Archive has volume 5 of Cambridge Antiquarian Communications.
• 1885-1888: The Internet Archive has volume 6 of the Communications.
• 1888-1891: The Internet Archive has volume 7 of Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society (new series volume 1). The journal would use the Proceedings title from here onwards.
• 1891-1894: The Internet Archive has volume 8 (new series volume 2).
• 1894-1898: The Internet Archive has volume 9 (new series volume 3).
• 1898-1903: The Internet Archive has volume 10 (new series volume 4).
• 1906-1908: The Internet Archive has volume 12 (new series volume 6).
• 1908-1909: The Internet Archive has volume 13 (new series volume 7).
• 1909-1910: The Internet Archive has volume 14 (new series volume 8).
• 1910-1911: The Internet Archive has volume 15 (new series volume 9).
• 1911-1912: The Internet Archive has volume 16 (new series volume 10).
• 1912-1913: The Internet Archive has volume 17 (new series volume 11).
• 1913-1916: The Internet Archive has volumes 18-20 (new series volumes 12-14).
• 1916-1922: The Internet Archive has volumes 21-24 (new series volumes 15-18).
