The People

The People is a newspaper of the Socialist Labor Party of America.

Publication History

The People began in 1891, and appears to have succeeded an earlier paper, "Bulletin of the Social Labor Movement". It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1899: The Internet Archive has volume 9, number 16, dated July 16, 1899.
• 1899-1900: The Marxist Internet Archive has issues of a rival edition of The People from a splinter group, as well as issues of The Worker, which this rival edition was renamed in 1901.
• 1999-2011: An archive at the Socialist Labor Party has archives of the paper from 1999 to 2011.
