Publication History

Petermanns Geographische Mitteilungen began in 1855 as Mittheilungen aux Justus Perthes' Geographischer Anstalt über Wichtige Neue Erforschungen auf dem Gasammtgebeite der Geographie. It went through various title changes thereafter, but after Petermann's death in 1878 was generally known by some variant of Petermann's Mitteilungen. The title settled on Petermanns Geographische Mitteilungen in 1933. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
