The Plain Truth

The Plain Truth is a religious magazine published in the United States. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

The Plain Truth began publication in 1934 as a typewritten newsletter edited by Herbert W. Armstrong of the Radio Church of God (later renamed the Worldwide Church of God). The first copyright-renewed issue is January 1955 (v. 20 no. 1). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) The magazine, and the Worldwide Church of God, changed its teachings significantly not long after Armstrong's death in 1986. In 1996, the magazine was taken over by Greg Albrecht's Plain Truth Ministries, which is not related to the Worldwide Church of God.
