Publication History

Printers' Ink began in 1888. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is July 16, 1936 (v. 176 no. 3). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from March 29, 1957. (More details) It ran under that title until 1967, when it was renamed "Marketing/Communications" (which ran until 1972). For most of its run Printers' Ink was published weekly, with a monthly spinoff Printers' Ink Monthly published from 1919 to 1941.
