Publication History

The American Society for International Law was founded in 1906, and held its first annual meeting in 1907. The first copyright-renewed issue is 1929 (23rd annual meeting). We know of no actively copyright-renewed contributions. (More details) It is still published today. Years in the listings below indicate the years of the meetings; the Proceedings are sometimes published the following year.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1907-1917: HathiTrust has the proceedings of the first 11 annual meetings.
• 1918-1920: HathiTrust has the proceedings of the 12th through 14th meetings, which are described as meetings of the Society's Executive Council.
• 1921-1928: HathiTrust has the proceedings of the 15th through 22nd annual meetings. Some later Proceedings may be searchable but not readable online here.
