Quadrennial Handbook of the General Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church was the official report of the Methodist Episcopal Church's general conference, held every 4 years. The title varied somewhat from session to session.
Quadrennial sessions for the Methodist Episcopal Church's general conference began in the 1800s. The first Quadrennial Handbook we know of was published for the 1896 conference. Quadrennial conferences were held every four years afterwards until the Methodist Church merger and reorganization of 1939. No issue copyright renewals were found for this serial. The first copyright-renewed contribution is from 1932. (More details)
