Publication History

The Railroad and Engineering Journal began in 1887, as a merger of The American Railroad Journal and Van Nastrand's Engineering Magazine. It continued the volume numbering of The American Railroad Journal. It ran until 1892, and was then succeeded by American Engineer and Railroad Journal.
