Report of the Governor of Utah to the Secretary of the Interior
Report of the Governor of Utah to the Secretary of the Interior was an annual report of the governor of the Utah territory, before it became a state.
Publication History
The territory of Utah was organized in 1850, and originally covered large areas of what is now Nevada and Colorado, as well as present-day Utah and parts of Wyoming. The annual governor's reports appear to have begun in 1878. Utah became a state, with its present boundaries, in 1896. The governor's report carried slightly different titles over its run.
