Publication History

Royal Photographic Society Journal began in 1853 as the Journal of the Photographic Society of London. A new series began in 1876 under the title The Photographic Journal, though the overall series numbering was eventually used alongside the new series numbering. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) The journal was renamed RPS Journal in 1999. It is still published today.
