Publication History

Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics began in 1905. In 1913 a supplement called International Abstract of Surgery was published as a companion journal; it was directly incorporated into this journal in 1964. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics ran until 1993, when it was renamed the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, which is still published today.
