Publication History
Scandinavian Studies and Notes began publishing under this name in 1917, succeeding Publications of the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study and continuing its volume numbering, hence starting with volume 4. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 1941, the journal was renamed Scandinavian Studies.

- 1935-1937: The Internet Archive has volume 14, scanned from microfilm.
- 1938-1939: The Internet Archive has volume 15, scanned from microfilm.
- 1940: The Internet Archive has volume 16, scanned from microfilm. The first four issues were originally published as Scandinavian Studies and Notes; the full volume, which also includes four issues from 1941, was published as Scandinavian Studies (as were the 1941 issues).
