Slate is a US-based online journal of commentary on news, politics, business, arts, and culture.

Publication History

Slate was begun by Microsoft in 1996. At the beginning, it had distinct issues; later, it switched to publishing articles on a continuous basis, as it continues to do today. Most articles appear Monday through Friday. Slate also features online discussion groups.
