Socialist Appeal: An Organ of Revolutionary Socialism

Socialist Appeal: An Organ of Revolutionary Socialism was "an organ of revolutionary socialism" pushed in the US during the Great Depression. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Socialist Appeal: An Organ of Revolutionary Socialism began in Chicago in 1935, shortly after the original "Militant" newspaper (listed separately), appears to have ceased publication. In 1937, Socialist Appeal: An Organ of Revolutionary Socialism moved to New York, and restarted its issue numbering. It appears to have run under this name until 1941, when it was retitled "The Militant", and continued publication under that revived name. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
