Socialist Call was an American socialist newspaper and magazine published in the mid-20th century.

Publication History

Socialist Call began as a weekly newspaper in New York in 1935. It moved to Chicago in 1938 and to Milwaukee in 1939, where it was renamed "The Call" in the same year. In 1940, it moved back to New York, where it eventually resumed the "Socialist Call" name. In 1953 it went to a less frequently published magazine format. Its last issue was dated Spring 1962. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.
