The South Atlantic Quarterly is a long-running scholarly journal on political, cultural, and social affairs now published by Duke University Press. Most issues are guest-edited on a particular theme. Some issues are later published in expanded book editions. Publication History

The South Atlantic Quarterly began in 1902. The first copyright-renewed issue is October 1943 (v. 42 no. 4). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from April 1942. (More details) It is still published today.
