Terrestrial Magnetism and Atmospheric Electricity began in 1896 as Terrestrial Magnetism, becoming Terrestrial Magnetism and Atmospheric Electricity in 1898. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It ran under that title until 1948, and was renamed Journal of Geophysical Research the following year. That journal, now published in several sections, continues today.
