Publication History

Transactions of the American Institute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers began in 1919 as a successor to the Transactions of the American Institute of Mining Engineers, continuing its volume numbering with volume 60. After volume 76 in 1928, volumes were issued by various divisions. Volumes 77-98 were issued unnumbered, but numbering was retrospectively applied to them later on. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) In 1956 the journal's name would change again to Transactions of the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers, to reflect a further expansion of the sponsoring society.
