True Romances was the original title of an American magazine of romance stories.
True Romances began in 1923. The first copyright-renewed issue is January 1944 (v. 38 no. 5). The first copyright-renewed contribution is from February 1930. (More details) The title changed to "True Romance" in the 1940s. It lasted until at least the 1980s, but appears to be no longer published.
