Census of Governments is a series of volumes summarizing the results of the Census of Governments, a comprehensive survey taken by the US Census Bureau every five years on the finances, resources, and employment of state and local goverments.

Publication History

The first Census of Governments was conducted in 1957. As of November 2022, the volumes for 2022 are in preparation. Listings below are organized by the year of the census, which may be earlier than the volumes were actually published.
