Publication History

West Virginia History began publication in 1939. The first actively copyright-renewed issue is October 1948 (v. 10 no. 1). The first actively copyright-renewed contribution is from October 1948 (v. 10 no. 1). (More details) A new series began in 2007. It is still published today.

Persistent Archives of Complete Issues

• 1940: HathiTrust has volume 4, number 3, dated April 1943.
• 1943-1944: HathiTrust has volume 5, covering October 1943 through July 1944.
• 1990-1997: The West Virginia Archives has text for volumes 49-56.
