Publication History

The Watchtower began as "Zion's Watch Tower" in 1879. It was renamed The Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's Presence in 1909, with "Watch Tower" shortened to "Watchtower" around 1931, and the full title after "Watchtower" also shifting somewhat over successive years. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) Distinct Public and Study editions were published beginning in the early 21st century. It is still published today.
