Whitaker's Almanack

Whitaker's Almanack, also known simply as "Whitaker's", is a British annual quick-reference work published since the 1800s. (There is a Wikipedia article about this serial.)

Publication History

Whitaker's Almanack was begun in 1869 by Joseph Whitaker. He edited the first issues. Until recently, volumes tended to be titled "An Almanack for the Year of Our Lord (year)". Two editions, a Popular and a Half-Bound edition (with different page counts), were published starting in 1887, and continuing at least as long as 1923. (We have not checked which editions are represented in the listings below.) No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. (More details) It is still published today.
