The Wilmington Mercury was a daily newspaper published in Wilmington, Delaware. It was established in response to the yellow fever epidemic sweeping Philadelphia, New York City, and Wilmington.

Publication History

The Wilmington Mercury began in September 1798. All content of this serial is in the public domain in the US. It ceased publication sometime in November 1798 when the yellow fever epidemic abated as temperatures cooled.
