The Wilmington Daily Republican was a daily newspaper published in Wilmington, Delaware. The title varied somewhat over time.
The Wilmington Daily Republican began in 1874 as the Daily Republican. It followed the Delaware Rpublican but began anew with volume 1, number 1 on July 27, 1874. It was renamed The Wilmington Daily Republican in 1890. The name shifted to The Evening Republican in 1902, but back to The Daily Republican later that year. In 1905 the newspaper was absorbed by the Evening Journal.
