Willmar Tribune was the original name of a newspaper published in Willmar, Minnesota.

Publication History

Willmar Tribune began in 1895 as a weekly newspaper. A daily edition called the Willmar Daily Tribune ran from 1928 to 1950. The weekly edition was renamed the Willmar Weekly Tribune in 1931, and ceased publication in 1950. The daily edition continued that year as the West Central Minnesota Daily Tribune, shortened its name to the West Central Daily Tribune in 1959, and then to the West Central Tribune in 1980. No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial. The West Central Tribune continues today.
