Publication History

The Writer's Monthly began in 1912 as Scenario Magazine. It was renamed The Photoplay Author after 3 issues, and then became The Writer's Monthly in 1915 (for a time retaining both "Photoplay Author" and "Writer's Monthly" in its full title). No issue or contribution copyright renewals were found for this serial.. It ran until 1951.
