Young Spartacus

Young Spartacus was the name of two newspapers for communist and socialist youth, both published in the US in the 20th century.

Publication History

The first Young Spartacus was begun in 1931 by the National Youth Committee, Communist League of America (Opposition). It ran until 1935. In the 1970s, a second Young Spartacus began as a retitling of the Spartacus Youth League's Revolutionary Communist Youth Newsletter. This incarnation ran until 1986. Neither publication appears to have been copyrighted.
