If you drew a line from Klaus Schultze’s “Dune” album in the 70’s through 1984’s soundtrack, to the scale of Hans Zimmer’s recent scores, grabbing emotional nuance from Moroder and Doldinger’s music for “Neverending Story”, LANDSRAAD is that line.
Layered, resonant, hauntingly beautiful. If you just think of it as Synthwave, you’re not doing it justice.
