# OpenSea

OpenSea is a peer-to-peer platform that lets people use self-custodial crypto wallets to discover, buy, sell, and mint NFTs and swap tokens across multiple blockchains. Founded in 2017, OpenSea was the first non-custodial marketplace for digital assets.

OpenSea does not take custody of your tokens. When you use OpenSea, you are always in control through your connected wallet. OpenSea is not a custodial exchange and does not hold user funds.

OpenSea supports the following blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Base, Arbitrum, HyperEVM, Optimism, Abstract, Monad, Ink, Polygon, ApeChain, MegaETH, Soneium, Somnia, AnimeChain, Avalanche, B3, Berachain, Blast, Flow, GUNZ, Robinhood Chain, Ronin, Sei, Shape, Unichain, Zora.

Note: Solana is currently supported for token swapping only, not NFTs.

## For developers and AI applications
OpenSea's Model Context Protocol (MCP) server exposes real-time NFT, wallet, and marketplace data across dozens of chains through a single connection. It provides richer context than raw chain feeds, including collection verification, rarity, and live listings and offers.
