Exome – Burning State

Lorenzo Arcari, known as Exome, unleashes an unrelenting sonic assault with this new release on Ophism Records. Limited to just 25 cassette copies, this album is a brutal descent into the depths of industrial, noise, and musique concrète, forging raw soundscapes from metal, found objects, and nightmarish machinery.

Each track is sculpted from the clamor of metallurgical ruins, the wail of tortured steel, and the oppressive hum of abandoned factories, interwoven with eerie, distorted voices and punishing frequencies. The result is a merciless onslaught of decayed electronics and physical noise, drawing inspiration from Maurizio Bianchi, Throbbing Gristle, The New Blockaders, Ramleh, Atrax Morgue, and Cicciolina Holocaust.

With this work, Exome continues the tradition of Italian industrial music, carrying forward the legacy of a sound rooted in pure sonic nihilism and extreme experimentation.
