Taking the art pop elements of the self-titled reunion album from a couple of years ago into a jazz and ambient direction was certainly not what I thought would come next for TMV, but then again A). I don't think anyone would've, and B). it's yet again another strong direction change I'm glad they've taken. Intricately detailed, especially for a whole 50 minute through-mixed experience, I've found this works really well as a late night listen, much like "Octahedron" and "Que Dios" before it.

Came into this album because I decided on a whim to start working through the projects Omar Rodriguez-Lopez has been involved with. Ended up falling in love with the album on its own merits, not to mention the strength of Teri's vocals. Cannot recommend it enough.
