After the last few releases of archival material here at Orr Music the origins of our next musical manifestation are firmly rooted in the present.
For this release I'm delighted to add a new name to the list of associates and collaborators that make up the Orr Music family.
B Positive started musical life as a DJ in the mid-nineties and has since moved on to producing his own blend of deep house, trance and melodic techno with a strong ambient influence. His tracks are thoughtful, refined journeys full of evolving rhythms. He has been particularly productive in the last few years and after hearing his most recent tracks I was curious to see what we could do with each others music. From this thought a remix exchange was born and I'm pleased to present the results as our latest release....Doubled.
Beyond And Back Again has been reimagined as a spiralling supernatural semi ambient monster. In return B Positive took Rubber Clock Rhythm and drew inspiration from the titular clock, conjuring a metronomic 21st century trance wonder.
The artwork is based on a photograph taken by B Positive and is a sideways nod to the cover for Xpander by Sasha which I believe to be the best Trance record ever released.
Contentious opinions on Trance records aside I hope you enjoy our latest outing.

A drone-y/ambient album that avoids many of the cliches that come with those genre tags. A compelling musical picture of a place I'm very familiar with. Highly recommended! Orr Music
I've known Oli and his music for a long time now. This has to be both his most sonically accomplished release and the best distillation of the many strands that make up his work. Recommended! Orr Music
