A downloadable game
Descend into the depths of the Target Planet's cave network to retrieve a critical piece of cargo, encountering many horrifying obstacles and problems on the way, to your character's dismay. Survival chances are near 0%—expect to die a lot along the way.
Caution and patience are greatly rewarded in the depths. Any mistake can spiral into an ugly, permanent death.
Play the tutorial before starting a run. It's good to understand some of the core mechanics before descending.
Translations are available! Language files are placed in the game's Data/Lang directory. The repo with them is located here. Note: Most translations aside from EN are unfinished, and not made by me.
This game contains scenes of violence, gore and depictions of depression and self harm.

I have probably a insanely stupid idea for mod.
Anyone knows a Darkest Dungeon narrator?
How about get his quotes to here, to comment and just make our lifes a bit sour?
I just noticed as i play back some quotes from Narrator and watch some videos of other people playing, and for me that all clicked. Clicked enough that might be good idea for mod like that.

I rlly like a game, a realistic health system surivial game that one game actually good and when i found that and played that become one of my favorite games and i supported that game 2 times (in general $40).
I like this game, but i have a question.
I have HEARD that some people have been harassed in the discord server by the orso/their staff because they gave suggestions, opinions or criticism they didn't like. Can anyone here tell me if this true? I have seen quite a few people say that, but I can't just believe random people's messages without proof. I REALLY hope not, but i can't bring myself to play this game when i keep thinking that the dev is *maybe* like this.

Hi there. So I got told about this game by a friend maybe a couple hours ago and did a search for it—and though I hardly use itch.io these days (save to slowly download titles from a Ukraine-supporting bundle I bought years ago), your comment was the first I read on this page.
I would consider myself a random person here given that I’ve yet to look more into this game and this is the first time I’ve seen the dev. This is why I’m gonna say what I’m about to say here.
Regardless of how the dev is, regardless of if your intention is merely to get some answers: this IS damaging to read.
My first impression now is that drama exists, that people are trying to stir it up, and this feels like airing dirty laundry in the wrong place.
You say you don’t want to trust random comments from peeps without them giving you solid proof of the harassment stuff, but you also ask if any rando with an account (like me) could confirm or deny whatever harassment you’re talking about. There’s a link to a Discord server up there; if this is something you truly want to learn about, maybe you could ask the community there instead? Like DMing folks after seeing who looks active and all that jazz. People there are directly involved with whatever may or may not be going on, after all.
I’m not saying this taking any sides because I genuinely don’t care about that aspect—but I care about how people generally treat each other and approach each other online, and feel like we could all be better with handling situations. There are more reliable ways to go about learning about the situation than commenting this on a game’s public landing page—which be the first exposure random, uninvolved persons like me get to any of this business. And think about it here: if you’re looking for a response from the dev, too, then they’ll either respond to you and say nothing’s going on (which they couldn’t satisfyingly prove either way, you’d just have to take or forsake them at their word), or they’ll ignore your comment; I don’t think any dev would respond with saying a sincere yes to the “accusations” you were told. If you’re only looking for answers from the other users here, then you’re kinda asking for more random people to weigh in who aren’t guaranteed to be directly involved—and making them aware of the “accusations” that can color their opinions of the dev, too. Joining the Discord looks like the most reliable route for answers.
Your post feels charged (though you’re polite, say it isn’t an attack, and surely intended for it to read neutral). For example, saying that a deletion of your comment would be taken as a confirmation to wrongdoing is quite the oog if you don’t mean to damage this person’s reputation. Just the speculation of drama is, in itself, the stirrup of drama in the public eye.
And all that said, I’ll probs look up a YouTube vid for gameplay reasons and ask my friend more about their opinion on the game itself. Hope you have a good day/night, too—and if I don’t reply to any reply gotten here, know it’s because I’m, again, hardly on this site. The fact I commented to begin with must mean there’ll be a blue moon tonight 👍
The comment deletion thing is more of a "If you silence me i'll think you're trying to hide it" kinda thing.

Without proof i wouldn't like to trust ppl without proof, and even if that true, how much suggestions was bad actually and how much it was actually harassed? Some ppl can be really sensitive and weirdo, and they can claim just a gif as "harassment".
Also they didn't proof and that person can be false or atleast say a true but not fully just because sensitive some of that ppl can be even under 17 actually. And lets keep in mind them community is not so small so there can be any person even very weirdo ppl so they can say literally everything.
Yes, but one negative thing in a sea of positives takes most of the attention away from the good. I can't exactly trust them, but the doubt is still there. Even the most ridiculous accusations can make someone wonder, even if just so slightly.
I have (2 weeks ago) learned to not trust random BIG accusations at people, even when there's "proof", real or not (cough cough fake Rblx Pressure allegations cough cough), But i still think about what if's.
To be fair though this is a furry game, some people wanna bring it down just because the only thing they heard about furries was lies from a random guy in a "TikTok Cringe Compilation 67" and who's audience is made up of 9 year olds who still says "ayo sus 💀" to the least cringe things ever.

Это пиздец, с одной стороны игра реально хороша: рогалик с реалистичным выживанием.
Но с другой стороны, игра загоняет в депрессию от того, что говорит персонаж. А я, к сожалению, имею проблему с тем, что переживаю и волнуюсь за персонажа, будто это мой ребёнок и все что я наблюдал за эти 3 часа, это боль, страдания, желание жить и умереть. За эти 3 часа я успел словить истерику, ведь мне реально жалко персонажа с такой судьбой, ведь он никто... Ресурс что можно закинуть и не париться. За ним никто не придет, он будет один всегда. Этот путь, это явный билет в один конец, откуда он никогда не выберется и в конце все равно умрет.

И я когда то тогда пожелал, как я думал не сбыточная мечта, что бы вышла игра, которая не будет сводиться только к порнографии и слащавости... Оно вышло.... И мне одновременно и приятно и больно, я оказался слишком мягким и миролюбивым для нее. Надеюсь я увижу следующее обновление игры, ставлю игре 4/5

I've seen people play it on mobile using some sort of emulator (Winlite/Winlator?), but it's clunky, lots of extra controls everywhere (since there's no keyboard) and consistently low FPS. Not impossible though!

i agree, the music, as FIRE as it is, gets loud at times. would be a cool secret option in the mp3 player item :)
Well... i know that mp3 player have option to import your own music... That's "HELL YEAH" moment for me. I got some music that probably fit to game.
how do get it to work it appears in the game but when I play it no sounds comes out
in the game click on ~ and it will open up a console I believe the command is volume or audio set to 0 and i think it will mute the music it will turn off any other sounds so yeah :\
Now i know how to use console. Cuz i asked people around and was quite issue for me to find a way to use console.
In the new update there's a sandbox section in the tutorial and there's a terminal that works exactly like the console so yeah...

howdy! i downloaded the demo off steam a few minutes ago and i tried playing basic training twice, and both times halfway [?] through my entire computer bricked, couldn't alt tab, windows key, etc out of the frozen game. had to hold down the power button to restart my pc. here are my specs and other info but i should be able to run it just fine?
GPU: AMD radeon RX 9060 XT 16gb
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8-Core Processor (4.50 GHz)
RAM: 32 gigs DDR5 [unsure of brand]
running windows 11 home 25h2 OS build 26200.8246

Simply this, this game is Brutal but fun. I have never seen anything like this and I think once this becomes a full game, No pressure, This will how off how games like this stand out. Its scary trying to get through the areas and the fact there's music for the quakes and enemies make it so nerve-racking that make me want to play more. I have a friend, Bless him, that says it would be crazy if there was a enemy that would swallow the scav and you would have to struggle to escape of be digested. For me its too much and I like how everything is at the moment. I know it takes time for developers to make their games and polish it and i respect that, no matter what I enjoy this game because it helps me get out of my comfort zone and its thrilling to play, Thank you Orson for making such a crazy yet fun game for us all to enjoy.
